I think very highly of peace and that it is possible. It's the view that evil and war are inescapable things that are just part of what makes us human beings that keep us from it. And really I blame this on religion. It single handedly persuaded most to not ask questions, to obey and to not think about things because hell! it's written down right here! here is my definition:
Religion: Stories told that can be manipulated to serve ones will and disguise wrong-doing as moral by the ones who know the truth- its a psychological tool.
and really its a fuckin good one.
The story of my agnosticism goes like this. first i hate atheists. they don't understand that they are just on the complete flip of the matter. Proving Gods existence or nonexistence is not the question. It can't be done. All things are possible and to say that anything in a world after death does or doesn't exist is just something we can't possibly answer. What we know about anything really could be wrong. and it doesn't matter. I'm completely content knowing that after i die there are endless possibilities including nonexistence. and it makes me appreciate the small possible meaningless life I've been fortunate enough to receive. and I'm sure if more people lived like this people would spend a little less time being depressed and lazy and go out there and enjoy every minute without a worry, cause one thing that is certain, is that life is short and spending it constantly praying for a raise or that new fish tank you you were eyeing at the walmart is not the way. A "god" that put you here to feel bad, and not enjoy what he gave you is torture and not someone i want to be associated with.
